Application for 2024 GKS-G (Master's or Doctoral Program) is now open.

1. Degree Programs

(1) Master's Degree: 1 year of Korean language program + 2 years of degree program

(2) Doctoral Degree: 1 year of Korean language program + 3 years of degree program

2. Available Fields of Study and Universities

3. Program Quota (Embassy track/ for Afghans)

- 4 people

4. Eligibility

- Nationality: Afghans (Neither of the parents should have the Korean nationality.)

- Age: Under 40 (Born after 1984.9.1)

- Grades: For Academic requirements, kindly refer to the guideline

- Applicants who are expected to graduate by July 31st, 2024 can also apply for the program with a certificate of expected graduation

- Students who have graduated from either highschool or university in Korea or who were granted for the Korean goverment scholarship in the past are not eligible

5. Documents to submit

- Kindly refer to the list of ducuments to submit from the guideline. (All the required certificates should be apostilled.)

- Please submit your application and required documents to Email address kabul@mofa.go.kr 

(write in the subject: "2024 GKS-G Application (Your Name)"

※ The final successful candidates that advance to the next round of selection will have to post or hand-deliver the original documents to the embassy. 

6. Process (Embassy track)

- Application : ~ March 10, 2024

- Interview : To be determined and will be announced individually to the candidates

- Final Announcement: ~ March 22, 2024
